Therese is the owner and operator of a day home in her community, and as a small business owner she understands how it important it is to keep life affordable for everyday, hard-working Albertans.
As a previous town councillor in Smoky Lake, Therese knows what it takes to be a strong advocate for her community. One of her proudest accomplishments as councillor was being a part of the board that secured funding, designed and built the a new senior facility in her community.
Therese also held various positions in the education system for 25 years, and was proudly elected President of CUPE Local 1461. With years of active union involvement, she has proven her dedication to advocating for fairness and equality for all.
Therese has lived and worked in the Smoky Lake area for the better part of 50 years, and she is running to join Rachel Notley’s team to build an Alberta where no one gets left behind.
Therese Taschuk and Rachel Notley's team are setting the course for a future that is for all Albertans, not just a select few. There's no room to turn back and undo our progress. Donate today to help elect Therese Taschuk and join the fight for Alberta's future.Donate today
